Our Angling Artistry

We take your favorite angling images – whether a digital photo or a scan of a traditional print – and create your own personalized angling art.

We Prep

Our artists will crop and adjust your original image to best prepare the colors and details for our unique PhotoStrokes™ paint process.  We will not do any major photo retouching unless you contact us and make a special request.

We Paint

Our artists create each CreelMemories portrait one PhotoStroke™ at a time using a specialized tablet and digital paint brush.  This is by no means achieved by the “push of button” or some fancy computer filter.  Each digital photo is carefully reproduced by our artists in the traditional style of realistic oil painters so that your CreelMemories portrait is truly an original. 

We Print

Once painted, your portrait is turned into a Giclee print on high quality water resistant textured canvas using museum quality, acid free pigmented archival inks to ensure the longest lasting artistic reproduction possible.  Combined with a UV inhibiting coat to protect from fading your canvas portrait is rated to last for more than 100 years. We finally mount each canvas on specially tempered art panels injected with special resins to resist both moisture and warping over time.

We Frame

Your portrait is professionally assembled in a frame built from reclaimed barn wood.  NOTE:  Each frame is an original so the color of wood will vary from frame to frame (it’s part of its character!). 

You Enjoy

Like any artwork please try to avoid displaying your CreelMemories portrait in direct sunlight. It’s also best to lightly dust your canvas with a dry cloth or duster.  Never apply a cleaner or water on the canvas surface.
